NESHAP and Spray Operator Training

Regardless of how much a finisher knows about finishing, at the end of it all it’s the doing that’s important. Today, VR (Virtual Reality) equipment has a proven track record as a training tool and is quickly becoming a standard for improving spray operator skills. In this session, through the use of VR equipment, different life size objects can be sprayed using different gun settings and spray gun technology. In this session you will learn:
Regulation – Part 1
- During this 1 hour lecture, we will discuss the key elements of the NESHAP (National Emissions Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants) regulatory requirement for spray operators. Q&A will follow.
Training – Part 2
- You will have the opportunity to experience hands-on VR Training that creates an environment for a real life experience, dramatically improving your spray operator skills; reducing reworks and significantly improving transfer efficiency.
Certification
- Upon successful completion of the VR Training, the participants will be issued a NESHAP basic certification.
