Starrett ProSite 5-in-i Combination Protaractor

The L.S. Starrett Co. has introduced a combination tool for angle work. The new ProSite CP505A-12 Combination Protracor provides fast, direct readings for mitre cuts. single cuts, compound cuts (with conversions for cutting crown moulding), exact angle/ supplemental angels and roof pitch references. For mitering or making single cuts for butt joints, the user simply adjusts the tool legs to the work surfaces, reads the angle on the dial face, sets the mitre saw to the reading and makes an accurate, professional mitre cut, in a fraction of the usual time. The tool also features a handy compound cut conversion table for cutting crown moulding as it lays flat in a compound mitre saw. The tool is constructed of precision-machined 1/4-in. lightweight aluminium, designed to withstand demanding jobsite environments. The 12-in. scissor-action legs are optimally tensioned and feature a Teflon O ring for smooth, precise operation.
